Process personal data
LeasePlan Romania is registered as operator for processing personal data no. 18036.
According to the requirements of Law no. 677/2001 for the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of these data, with its completions and additions, LeasePlan Romania SRL is required to manage in safe condition and only for the stated purposes, the data which you supply us regarding yourself, a member of your family or any other person. The purpose for collecting the data is the conducting of services linked to operational leasing and fleet management.
You are required to supply to us the data, because they are needed in order for us to provide operational lease and fleet management services. Your refusal prevents LeasePlan Romania SRL from providing you or your employer the services for which you have contracted us.
The collected data will be used by the operator and are disclosed only to the following parties: contractual partners of LeasePlan Romania SRL, central/ local public authorities, suppliers of goods and services and insurance and reinsurance companies.
According to Law no. 677/2001, you have the right to access, to change the information, the right not be subjected to an individual decision and the right to access justice. At the same time, you have the right to oppose the processing of personal data which regards you and request the deletion of the data*. In order to use this right, you can submit a written request, dated and signed to office@leaseplan.ro . Also, you are recognized the right to access justice. Your information will be transferred to The Netherlands, Ireland and Czech Republic for the archiving and the consolidated financial reporting of the group. If some of your information is incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.
*Note:
- any individual has the right to oppose, for legitimate reasons for the processing of data that regards him. This right is suspended for certain processing of data required by law (for ex.: the processing made by fiscal and financial services, the police, justice, social security). Therefore this request cannot be fulfilled if the processing is compulsory.
- any individual has also the right to oppose, freely and without any justification, to the use of his personal data for direct marketing purposes.
