LeasePlan Romania, OMV Petrom supplier for operational lease and fleet
management services

Bucharest, 12th of March 2010 – Last year in December, OMV Petrom signed
with LeasePlan Romania a contract for supplying operational lease and
fleet management services for a part of OMV Petrom car fleet.

Within this contract, LeasePlan delivers solutions for the existing OMV
Petrom fleet, for which the “sale & leaseback” product applies and for new
cars in operational lease with fleet management services included.

Besides the common services as maintenance and insurance of the vehicles,
tires and replacement car, LeasePlan offers also an on-line reporting
system – FleetReporting – which provides different statistics at car and
entire fleet level.

LeasePlan Romania became operational in September 2007, reaching a fleet of
over 2500 managed vehicles by the end of last year, with a client portfolio
of 125 companies. LeasePlan target for 2010 is reaching a fleet volume of
5000 managed vehicles.

LeasePlan is the European leader in operational lease and fleet management
services and second place worldwide, managing a total fleet of over 1.3
million vehicles. LeasePlan shareholders are Volkswagen Group (50%) and
Fleet Investments B.V. (50%), an investment company owned by the German
banker Friedrich von Metzler.
